Garlic Bubble Loaf

Wholewheat and Oats flour Garlic Bubble Loaf

Just came back from a relaxing and a funfilled trip to the mountains. All three of us are tanned beyond recognition and the peeling skin on our nose tips is telling the world about the pure bliss we experienced while trekking and long walks in the nature. We promised ourselves to do this frequently and expose our little one more often to the wonders of mother nature. Our little one was delighted to spot elephants and deer in their natural homes, climb trees, feed the birds and pocket the different feathers in the jungle. Our chief delight was to see him experience pure happiness...

Happiness reminds me of coffee and garlic bread and pure happiness is doing it healthy, which is this bubble loaf all about.
It is soft and fluffy with a strong garlic flavour and Oats and wholewheat flour as chief ingredients make it healthy too. Accompanied with a steaming cup of coffee..it is a complete breakfast and of course pure Happiness personified.

Ingredients

. 1/2 cup warm water
. 1 loaded spoon sugar
. 1 and 1/2 tsp of active dry yeast
. 1/2 cup powdered oats
. 1and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
. 1 cup All purpose flour
. 1tsp salt
. 2 tsp oil
. 2 tsp cheese powder
. 2 tsp garlic minced
. 2 tsp garlic powder
. 4 tsp butter
. herbs of choice

Instructions
1. Take a deep bowl with half cup of warm water. Stir in sugar and yeast and leave it aside for ten minutes.
2. In a big bowl mix the flours with salt. The yeast mixture should be frothy now.
Add this to the flours and knead the dough with it. Use extra warm water if required. I used slightly more than a cup of water for this.
3. Add the oil now and knead again. It should be soft and pliable.Cover the dough and keep aside for an hour to double up in volume.
4.Make a mix of cheese powder and minced garlic.Gently deflate the proven dough and punch in the garlic mix and incorporate the garlic in the dough.
5. Divide the dough into ten to twelve pieces and form small balls.
Melt the butter and garlic powder together in the microwave. Add herbs of your choice.I used pizza herb mix but one can choose rosemary, parsley or even kasoori methi or simple fresh coriander too. Grease a loaf pan in which you plan to bake the bread.Dip the small balls in the butter-garlic mixture and place the balls in the loaf pan.Pour the leftover butter mix over the balls and keep aside for half an hour.
6. Bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
